Our compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is managed by our Data Protection Officer and Membership Secretary. We hold the following details:

  • Lead Member Name
  • Address
  • Telephone number(s)
  • Email address
  • Date of joining
  • Amount paid.

Once your completed form has reached the DPO/Membership Secretary, either from Key Change Day or via the Bourne Stores, the data is securely stored on a private computer and is only shared with the Club Chairman for disaster recovery purposes. Members’ names and email addresses are also kept on a server through a password-protected email account, details of which are only available to the Club Chairman and Membership Secretary, in order to communicate with members. We do not share this information with any other individuals or bodies and only use the information that we hold for BGTC purposes.

When you complete your membership form or renewal form, you are agreeing to us holding this information. You have the right to:

  • be removed from the list at any time
  • see what information we are holding about you
  • have your history deleted
  • change your details.
